Rin's apartment was four square meters of blue light and humming servers. She liked it that way. The world outside Tower 9 was loud and full of people who wanted things from her.
The packet arrived at 3:47 AM. It wasn't addressed to her — it was addressed through her, like she was a window someone had walked past. She traced it for a millisecond and saw something she shouldn't have.
